Andrew Garfield says he’ll be on THIS popular show if he wins Best Actor at the 2022 Oscars
Andrew Garfield is having a splendid time with the responses he received from critics as well as audiences for his performances in Spider-Man: No Coming Home and Tick, Tick… Boom! The latter also earned him an Oscar nomination in the Best Actor category and recently during his appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Andrew revealed the one thing he would do if he won the Oscar.
On the recent episode of The Graham Norton Show, Andrew was asked if he would ever be interested in doing a musical. The actor who recently showed off his vocal talents with Tick, Tick… Boom! then joked: “I would love to, but you have to be a thoroughbred. I have the deepest respect for these artists. I hate to admit it, but I would absolutely love to do Strictly. It’s on the list of things to do.”
Referring to one of Britain’s best-loved dance reality shows, Strictly Come Dancing, Garfield said it was on his bucket list and added: “If I win the Oscar, I will come back and do it!” This statement by Garfield received a lot of love across the internet as netizens went on to say they had to win Andrew the Oscar just for him to make an appearance on Strictly.
The Graham Norton Show Twitter account also shared a tweet saying, “How can we rig the Oscars for Andrew Garfield to win and appear in the next season of Strictly Come Dancing?” echoing the sentiments of several fans.
As for Oscars 2022Garfield will be competing for an Oscar against Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Benedict Cumberbatch and Javier Bardem.
