The all-new comedy entertainment show centers on the legendary NASBLAQ – a stock market index for diverse talent that determines which of them are allowed to move up and down the ladder of fame and success at any given time.

In this new satirical pilot for BBC Three, Dane and his reunited cast will try to understand how NASBLAQ works and how black talent can reach the top with an avalanche of comedy sketches, stunts, funny archives, interviews, social campaigns and much more, promising to reflect Britain in its truest, most provocative and current aspect.

Dane Baptiste said: “I am incredibly proud of this commission.

“Bamous is the show I’ve always wanted to do, where I can explore and celebrate the darkness, the Britishness and how those two elements combined can create a distinct and hilarious piece of work – with a style unique on the planet right now. black excellence in all its glory.

He shared the show: “It’s a shameless black show that’s hilarious, unique and surreal as well as topical.

“This show celebrates something that has been hidden from British screens for too long – a celebration of being black and famous.”

Dane explains to the NASBLAQ: “The NASBLAQ is an index of black excellence and creativity that chronicles the contribution of blacks to British creativity and culture, as well as the positive effect of black British culture.

“All you have to do is be a creator and a positive contributor. The bad black oriented energy and our customs and creations will get you started!”

Fiona Campbell, Controller of BBC Three, added: “With Dane at the helm, supported by a cast of some of the country’s most exciting acting, writing and production talents, BBC Three is honored to be home from the NASBLAQ. “
