Coastal comedy show returns to Poole Lighthouse

Coastal Comedy will bring its Colossal shows back to the site, with three headliners on television.

The Saturday 25th September event will be headlined by Hospital Radio DJ Ivan Brackenbury, who has appeared on BBC Live at the Apollo, Channel 4’s Eight of Ten Cats Does Countdown as well as his own comedy show Hospital People on BBC One and The Ivan. Broadcast from Brackenbury on BBC Radio 2.

Opening the show is the talented Paul McCaffrey, who recently appeared on the BBC’s Live at the Apollo and Impractical Jokers show.

Coastal Comedy will also host Marlon Davis, who has supported Kevin Bridges, Michael McIntyre and Alan Carr on tour.

Adrienne Coles, Executive Director of Coastal Comedy and host of the show, said: “We can’t wait to be back and there is a big call for live entertainment.

“There is nothing like a room full of people laughing together and it is a huge pleasure to bring it all together and share the experience.

“Everyone needs a laugh more than ever and it’s great to see the audience in the flesh and blood again, there is nothing like a good show for a top night out.”

Coastal Comedy Colossal is held quarterly and will resume on September 25. Coastal Comedy shows are also in the studio each month at the Lighthouse and in their venue at the Bournemouth Canvas Loft Bar. For more details, including ticket information, visit
