Illusionist Rob Lake to Record Armed Forces Entertainment at the Coleman Theater in Miami

Famed illusionist Rob Lake will perform at the historic Coleman Theater in Miami, Oklahoma on October 19 to film his final special for Armed Forced Entertainment.

Since 1951, Armed Forces Entertainment has provided the best in American entertainment to American troops and their family members stationed overseas. Expanding to taped shows, the reach and impact of Armed Forces Entertainment has multiplied the joy and wonder available to audiences around the world.

Lake’s latest specials, taped in 2021, have over half a million views to date and continue to be popular for Armed Forces Entertainment.

Lake’s show at the Coleman Theater will feature never-before-seen illusions that will be recorded for an expanded program that will air to troupes overseas and be available online later this year.

“After more than 20 years performing for audiences around the world, it fuels my soul and creativity to continue to develop and share new illusions with Armed Forces Entertainment,” Lake said in a press release.

Lake holds the distinction of being the youngest recipient of the coveted Merlin Award for International Stage Magician of the Year. He is a magic consultant for network television series, feature films, theme parks, Broadway shows and major public events.
