Houston “HueBaby” Patterson will return to Morganton on Black Friday for a comedy show at Manazhe ‘downtown.

A native of Morganton, Houston “HueBaby” Patterson will return with a lineup of other comedians at 7 p.m. at Manazhe ‘on West Union Street, he said in a press release.
Tickets for the event are $ 10 and are limited. They will be available for purchase at the door and they can be purchased on Cash App.
Patterson’s “Funny Black Friday” will feature special comedians Ray Ray from Charlotte and Chris Wilson from South Carolina.
Lonnique Edmondson, Akyea J, Julio Hennessey and Amelia McAbee also join the lineup.
The show is presented by SM3 Media, Manazhe ‘and Hue Baby Entertainment.
Patterson said precautions will be taken on Friday, including wearing face coverings, to ensure the event remains safe for COVID-19.
It will be the first pop-up comedy return to Morganton since COVID-19 shut down many entertainment functions last year.
But the pandemic has not held back Patterson.
He told the News Herald he was also nominated for Comedian of the Year through the Queen City Awards, a charity event that recognizes talented performers from across the Carolinas while raising money to create scholarships for local students, according to the QCA website.
