RTE’s Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy shares rare snap alongside lookalike brother

RTE star Ryan Tubridy has shared a rare snap alongside his lookalike brother.

The Late Late Show host spent a day watching the UEFA Nations League match between Ireland and Scotland.

Taking to his Instagram story, Ryan shared a sweet selfie with his brother Garrett.

The presenter is one of five children.

Ryan has two sisters; Judith and Rachel, and two brothers; Niall and Garrett.

The Tubridy brothers were all smiles as they soaked up the sunshine at Aviva Stadium today.

Ryan and Garrett wore matching sunglasses and had the same hairstyle.

RTE star Ryan captioned the snap: “The sun shines on Ireland at half-time. Ireland lead Scotland 2-0.

“That’s my brother, Garrett…the sportsman.”

Ryan recently looked unrecognizable in a major comeback clip.

The video was shared on the Late Late Show’s 60th anniversary – ahead of its host Ryan’s birthday.

In the throwback clip, Ryan can be seen performing his very first Late Late Show.

The Dublin native took over the long-running chat show in 2009, replacing Pat Kenny who ran it for 10 years after Gay Byrne’s mammoth 37 years at the helm.

He said: “Ladies and gentlemen at home and in the audience, good evening and welcome to the Late Late Show.


“Those are big shoes! Big shoes! Hopefully I can do them justice and more importantly do the house justice in the coming season, so let’s get down to business, shall we? “

The second half of the video showed Ryan presenting the 60th anniversary of The Late Late Show – 13 years after his first show.

He said, “Welcome everyone, it’s the Late Late Show!

“Good to see you here, thank you for being here. We are here on the surviving and thriving Late Late Show to reach the ripe old age of 60 on the air.

“So, happy birthday to the Late Late Show. In all honesty, it’s not bad. Raise your glasses! Let’s get this show on the road.
