SAG Awards: America’s Most Popular Show ‘Yellowstone’ FINALLY Nominated After 4 Years

“Yellowstone” has been one of the most extraordinary shows on television and is responsible for giving fans several iconic moments over the years. Despite being so popular and acclaimed, the show has never received the recognition it deserves. For the past four years, the Paramount show has garnered universal acclaim for its storyline and characters. Even then, he was snubbed at every awards show and failed to earn a nomination in the main categories.

But, times have changed now and ‘Yellowstone’ is finally getting some award show love. Rosario Dawson and Vanessa Hudgens announced the nominations for this year’s Screen Actors Guild awards, and the “Yellowstone” fandom erupted in joy when the show’s name was revealed in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series category. .

The show will compete for the prize against “The Handmaid’s Tale”, “The Morning Show”, “Squid Game” and “Succession”.

Taylor Sheridan, who is the co-creator of the Paramount show, couldn’t contain her excitement and noted that there was no “bigger compliment” than that. Sheridan said, “There is no greater compliment for an actor than to be recognized by their peers. Congratulations to our incredibly talented cast on this wonderful and well-deserved nomination.”

As soon as news of “Yellowstone”‘s nomination surfaced online, fans lit up social media with stunning reactions and declared that the show finally got what it deserved all along. One of the fans wrote, “Good news! Yellowstone has been overlooked since Season 1 for the outstanding spectacle that it is. He’s the best on TV!” Another fan shared, “He should have been recognized a few years ago. Those big numbers this year couldn’t be denied. Great job Yellowstone team.”





“Congratulations! The best cast indeed!” said another. Meanwhile, one of the fans felt that the show should have been nominated for more awards.

One of the show’s ardent fans wrote, “Exactly what this show deserves! Great actors and actresses, great script and writers. It’s time for Yellowstone to be recognized. Another fan said: “I totally agree!!! I love Yellowstone – the cast is so amazing, the writing etc! Sundays haven’t been the same since the end of the season!!! So excited to have this show nominated!

The nominations come weeks after it was revealed that 11 million viewers tuned in to watch the Season 4 finale, becoming the most-watched TV episode since 2017. So it’s no surprise that SAG finally decided to award the show for such an incredible feat.
