Sherri Berger gets a new talk show and says she wishes she had wendy williams as a guest in the future.

Currently, Shepherd is the replacement permanent guest host for The Wendy Williams Show announced on February 22 during the “Hot Topics” segment that she would officially host her next daytime talk show Sherri September.

In an interview with Deadlinethe 54-year-old shared her wish list of guests she’d like to chat with during the show’s first season, which included Williams and a few other superstar celebrities.

“I wonder what Oprah is doing? I want to know what Idris Elba is doing and if his wife could separate from him for a hot minute,” she said. “Come on, Régé-Jean Page. Hey, method man! I want him to come. ‘Michelle Obama, we’re both from Chicago. Are you and your husband doing anything that week? »

She also had some kind words for Williams, who has been absent from her self-titled daytime series for ongoing health reasons.

“I’m so grateful to Wendy for letting me step in and letting me fill the void to support her, like all of the other co-hosts have done as well,” Shepherd explained. “I’m grateful because if it wasn’t for Wendy, eyes wouldn’t have been on me. I’m so grateful to her. We’re all praying for her.

BET previously reported that Williams broke her silence in an Instagram video in February 2022 on her road to recovery while spending time in Florida to get her health back on track.
