Watch: Imran Khan can join a popular Indian comedy show, says Reham Khan as she pokes fun at her ex-husband

Reham Khan, ex-wife of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan may have an option for ‘Kaptaan’ on what to do next after being ousted from power last week.

Reham mentioned former cricketer Imran Khan’s “comic talent” and suggested he could be a good replacement for Navjot Singh Sidhu on popular comedy show “The Kapil Sharma Show”.

Reham was commenting on the alleged “foreign conspiracy” which Imran Khan repeatedly mentioned before the vote of no confidence was concluded. He also mentions having quoted a “threatening letter”.

She called Imran’s praise for India “khuddar quam (self-respecting people)”. She said India should make room for Imran and he could try his luck in Bollywood – India’s film industry.

Asked by a reporter if Imran would be a hero or a villain, Reham said “it’s up to him”. She added, “In Bollywood, heroes become villains and villains become more popular.”

“But I think he has comedic talent too… If nothing else, you know Paaji’s (Navjot Sidhu) spot is vacant on The Kapil Sharma Show. And now he loves shero-shayari too ( couplets in Urdu),” she added. .

“Also, he has a very good relationship with Paaji, so I think there can be a bit of sharing with him,” she added.

Navjot Sidhu is a former Indian cricketer, who was active when Imran Khan was playing international cricket. Sidhu was part of “The Kapil Sharma Show” as a special guest and was ousted from the show following controversial statements.
